چکیده
The astrophysical p-process is responsible for the origin of the proton rich nuclei, which are heavier than iron. A huge network involving thousands of reaction rates is necessary to calculate the final p-abundances. But not all rates included in the network have a strong influence on the p-nuclei abundances. The p-process was investigated using a full nuclear reaction network for a type II super-novae explosion when the shock front passes through the O/Ne layer. Calculations were done with a multi-layer model adopting the seed of a pre-explosion evolution of a 25 mass star. In extensive simulations we investigated the impact of single reaction rates on the final p-abundances. The results are important for the strategy of future experiments in this field.

With the chemical reaction rate database UMIST95 (Millar etal. 1997) we analyze how uncertainties in rate constants of gas-phase chemical reactions influence the modelling of the molecular abundances in the inter-stellar medium. Random variations are introduced into the rate constants to estimate the scatter in theoretical abundances. Calculations were performed for the dark and translucent mol...

The CLAS data on the photo-production of K + off the proton are utilised to study reaction mechanism of the process in frame of the isobaric approach. The missing D 13 resonance is shown to be important for successful description of the data in the whole kinematical region. Constructed models provide satisfactory predictions for the process.

Lepton transverse polarization in the B → Dlν l decay due to the electromagnetic final state interaction. Abstract The effect of lepton transverse polarization in the B 0 → D − l + ν l , B + → ¯ D 0 l + ν l decays (l = τ, µ) is analyzed within the framework of Standard Model in the leading order of HQET. It is shown that the non-zero transverse polarization appears due to the electromagnetic fi...

The Feshbach theory of the optical potential naturally leads to a microscopic description of scattering in terms of the many-body self-energy. We consider a recent calculation of this quantity for O and study the possibility of applying it at astrophysical energies. The results obtained for the phase shifts and the O(p,γ) capture suggest that such studies are feasible but the calculations requi...
